Type Locality and Naming

It is described by A. I. Kim and N. M. Larin (1966) as the Bursakhirman horizon, it is represented in the Obisafit type section, обисафитским.

It consists of gray and black limestones with a thickness of 500 m.

Fossils

They contain remnants of Amphipora Amphipora aff. alaiskensis Yavor.; tabulates Dendropora macropora Dubat.; rugose corals Neomphyma originata Soshk., Fasciphyllum simplex (Vaganova) and brachiopods Atrypopsis thetis (Barr.), characteristic of the Manak and partly Kunjak horizons (Lochkovian - Pragian stages).
